Nonpareil is highly favoured with an attractive appearance. It has a light golden colour with a thin outer shell and a smooth oval kernel. This variety is produced in large quantities and used extensively worldwide.
Carmel has a soft shell and an elongated medium sized kernel with a strong flavour. It is frequently interchangeable with the Nonpareil variety and is easily processed.
Neplus has a large flat kernel. This makes Neplus ideal for blanching, slicing or producing slivers.
Fritz has a round shaped kernel. It is ideally suited for chocolate coating and other confectionery production.
Mission has a dark-coloured, round shaped kernel. Mission has a very strong flavour and is widely used by confectioners.
Price has a plump small to medium sized kernel similar in shape to Nonpareil. It has a strong flavour and can be used for most manufacturing processes.
